On 13th January 2014 at the Information Centre of RIEW – Veliko Tarnovo was held yet another work session of the project team involved in the implementation of the Strategic project Strategic project „Joint Risk Monitoring during Emergencies in the Danube Area Border“, financed by the European Regional development fund and the State budgets of Republic of Bulgaria and Republic of Romania under the Crossborder Cooperation Programme Romania-Bulgaria 2007-2013.
During the work session were discussed the forthcoming activities under the project, the interaction and the joint events to be held with the Leading partners, the other project partners as well as the Ministry of Environment and Waters, the measures related to dissemination of information and publicity, as well as the financial and technical completion of the project.
In the work session took part the Managing Director of RIEW Mr. Elin Andreev and 10 experts who are members of the project team. Mr. Andreev wished fruitful work for the completion of all project activities and full use of financial resources. He laid an emphasis on the fact that the project is a crucial one since it is dedicated to the protection of civilians and environment in a cross-border Bulgarian-Romanian area, while its successful completion will help to upgrade the goals reached in the next programme period.
