Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
Today, on 22nd September 2012, at RIEW Veliko Turnovo you will be able to receive information by project leader Ms Kamelia Djanabetska as well as promotional materials dedicated to the implementation of the Strategic project „Joint Risk Monitoring during Emergencies in the Danube Area Border“, reference number № 2s-2.2-1, MIS-ETC Code: 166 financed by the European Regional development fund and the State budgets of Republic of Bulgaria and Republic of Romania under the Crossborder Cooperation Programme Romania-Bulgaria 2007-2013 – a project we are proud of, because it protects climate and encourages strategic thinking about moving in the right direction, which means for us cities where the air is clean, there is less noise, no traffic and reaching any destination is easy while citizens enjoy quality of life.
It is time for us to start moving in the right direction…
Let us follow the appeal of the European commissioner for the environment Janez Potočnik and on this day use the opportunity to move in the city without a car, by safe to the environment means of transportation like bicycles, or on feet, or by public transport. Better mobility means better quality of the air, reduced emmissions, less noise and healthier city environment. Let us avail of the alternatives to our personal cars not only today in order to live in a cleaner and better environment in the future. Each of us can personally contribute to:
- better quality and attractive living environment
- less greenhouse gas emissions and less energy consumption
- better access for everyone
- improved safety and security
- more effective and profitable moving of people and goods
Let us start moving!
We expect you at the Information centre at RIEW Veliko Turnovo from 13.00 to 17.00 on 22nd September 2012, for contacts tel. 64 68 41; 0889 92 99 34.
